Tokyo National Museum

明治5年(1872年)創設。本館、表慶館、 東洋館、平成館、法隆寺宝物館の5つの展示館と資料館その他の施設からなる日本最古の博物館。国宝や重要文化財など収蔵品の総数は117,190点にものぼります。
エジプト、インド、中国などの美術品を展示している東洋館に、世界一薄い免震装置「ミューソレーター^™」を設置し、展示環境を損なうことなく免震化しました。（2011年2月14日）
